940*oImperial China valuable and attractive mixed mint and used collection. This ever popular assembly show cases five Large Dragons, six Small Dragons, 1894 Coiling Dragons, 1897 New Currency surcharges, four Red Revenues, 1912 Shanghai and London overprints, 1912 Republic commemoratives with the high values being “Specimens”, 1913-1919 London, and Peking Junk prints. Also includes decent selections of airmails, back of the book, and Provincial overprints. This beautifully hand written presentation holds mint numbers 1, 19-21, 23-24, 75, 78, 80, and 82, plus used numbers 1-2, 3 x2, 22, 36-37, 52, 55, 76-77, 79, 122, and 239. Condition is mixed with both OG and NG present in the early mint items. Preserved back in the 1940s the collector had a great opportunity to acquire nice appearing examples that are highly sought after today.Cat. Value: S.B. 4,000.00

Impressive grouping of Large and Small Dragons, 1897 overprinted coiling Dragons, Red Revenues, London and Peking printings without and with overprints, Silver and Gold Yuans. You will also find a wide variety of Airmails and BOB, Japanese Occupations and Provinces. Better used items are numbers 1-3, 5, 8-37, 78-80, 82, 98-122, 176, 202-219, 191-201, 960-962, 991-996, Manchuria 1-20, Northeast Provinces Q1, Sinkiang Airmails, Tsingtan Provinces 1, 3-4, Early R.O.C. 942*oChina and ROC collection to 1976 in an old Scott Specialty album. Hard to evaluate for the owner never got around to mounting the loose stamps he stored near the spine of the album. Mixed condition and authenticity, but plenty of good old China stamps that look respectable to us. Includes used #1, 2 x 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13 x 2, 14, 19, 188, and mint #18, 96 with faults, 189, 1064-1069 perf and imperf, 1092-1095, 1098-1099, 1109-1110, 1196-1199, 1290-1307, 1355-1358 x 2, 1414-1417, 1480-1482, and many more.
