Also includes a carton of similar 1950s and 1960s FDCs from the UN and Canada, and a couple cartons of related uncacheted first days, unserviced first days, dealer correspondence, and mint stationery. Never having been seen at retail before, these FDCs should interest many buyers, and the other covers present an unusual opportunity to market handpainted add on cachets or topical combo first days with little raw material cost.Cat. 738CVCollection of a little over 1500 mostly cacheted FDC’s housed in 16 White Ace cover binders. Starts in the 2¢ Red area (mostly uncacheted) going to 1998 with some big gaps in the 1950s through the 1980s. Includes Famous Americans, Overrun Nations, Prexies up the $5.00 (damaged and add on cachet) and airmails. Better numbers are 617, 621 to Worden, 623, and 855. Fairly nice variety of cachets, however the modern from 1950 on are all Artcraft. Good start to a fun area.Cat. Value: S.B. 220.00

739CVAn accumulation of over 230 covers in two components . The first being a group of over 130 Civil War era franked with Scott #65’s consisting of a pleasing number of fancy cancels and other markings plus four pretty beat up Patriotics. The second part are franked with 1¢ and 2¢ Banknotes or 2¢ early Bureau issues. This assembly also holds a number of different cancellations and markings but not quite a nice as the first group.
