Lots 1141-1150 are the remains of one man’s world collection in twelve Scott international albums with stamps from around 1870 through 1950. Carefully selected from his interest areas there are few classics. From 1935-1950 pages are missing with only stamps of interest included, sometimes in the wrong spots. Plenty of high catalog items infused with the usual suspects. Our collector cataloged with a wishful eye often neglecting small faults and hinge marks which tend to inflate the catalog. Still excellent value with our suggested bids taking all into consideration.

Lots 1151-1154 are from a large album hoard dug out from the depths of Ohio. Price Realized: $18,000.00
1156*oExtremely extensive worldwide mint and/or used collection in five volumes of well-used Scott International pages to 1937. Stamps are often carefully shingled sideways in the available space and many countries include imperfs, non-Scott, etc. with a substantial amount of later material on blank pages. While it is difficult to identify complete long sets, there is an extremely wide selection of stamps, along with the occasional faulty. Note that scans show representative full pages as collected, not necessarily the most valuable, and we suggest you allow enough time to slowly view loaded facing pages that have a propensity for snagging each other.Cat. Value: S.B. 21,000.00
Price Realized: $17,000.00
1157*oExtensive original worldwide collection nicely populating 13 1960’s era Scott Internationals supplemented to 1978. 1163*oOne man’s lifetime collection mounted and unmounted in 25 Scott International albums custom organized by time and A-Z. Ordered prolifically from new issue sources this holding is especially strong in the years 1970-1981. Highlights include mint PRC #1007a, 1180-1198, 1199-1207a, 1211-1214, 1586 monkey, NH small offset and the rarely seen 1607e complete fairy tale booklet NH. Other countries are strong, too. ROC #1519-1531, 1556-1562, French Polynesia #233-240, C38-C39, C54, French Southern #C19-C23, etc. The early albums up through 1960 are bulging with most of the value in used singles and the like often with unmounted stamps in the crevices along with auction lots, approval cards and other purchases. Careful handling is a must because in his effort to keep the collection NH, and a reluctance toward hinging, they are loose all over the place. This description only scratches the surface of the fine material in this holding. Careful viewing is a must.Cat. Value: S.B. 5,500.00

Although the three albums are from the same collector they have been lightly remaindered and are missing several countries in places like Germany, Great Britain and Mexico. What remains is quite strong in places with notable runs of Austria, France and Japan. Take some time to carefully examine the rest to find its inherent value.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,000.00
Price Realized: $1,500.00

Price Realized: $2,900.00
1180*oOne man’s quarter ton accumulation/collection of 59 Scott International albums with stamps and pages to 1988. Confusingly custom organized with countries often in illogical places. Tens of thousands of stamps that took years to mount. Somewhat remaindered and sparse in places as his heirs sold out some of the material. Pockets of medium values throughout with chances for some surprises. Reorganization and album cover replacement might be in order, but, it looks like a ten carton load of heavy fun to us.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,000.00
