879*oFrance collection in a Scott Specialty album to 1986. Begins with a fairly strong section of used classic material (includes #37 used) and progresses with a mint focus from 1928 on. From 1934-1986 over 95% complete mainly mint including color variations of #300 and a Pexip sheet. Strength in the semipostals where #B19, B20-B23, B27, B34, B35-B37, and B39-B41 are all present. Also includes a section of complete booklets 1952-1962 with #B274a. An outstanding collector formed collection with much to offer collectors and dealers alike.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,700.00

Napoleons (mostly in pairs or strips) 82 are the 25c perfed Ceres and the balance are the 20c Bordeaux issue with a minimum catalog value of $17,000.00. 881oFrance accumulation of approximately 140 stamps straight out of Europe starting with #3 and running to the Peace and Commerce issues of 1900. For the most part they are of far superior appearance with a wide variety of issues, types and shades plus multiples and gutters. Highlights include many nice used classics in generally fine condition, plenty of commemoratives with readable cancels, and an intermediate group of semipostals and airs. Owner’s catalog of $8,600.00 appears to be correct but skewed toward the high end with a preponderance of classic material.
