959*oGreat Britain powerful, intact collection from the Carbondale estate. Mint or used from three penny blacks (plus another on cover) to 2003. Numerous highlights in better than usual condition used of note are 2 (three, including a pair), 5-7, 93, 123, 124, 142 and 176. Among the better mint is a one pound PUC (209). The dues appear complete, officials are good, and offices abroad strong. Also includes a few covers including U1-U4 either mint or used. Condition varies widely as usual and there is, occasionally, extensive duplication. However, there are plate numbers, wing margins, and good cancels to pique the interest of the treasure hunter. The value here is in the wealth of apparently complete mint sets starting in 1960 and running to 1999. All are in mounts and the couple we examined were NH. 966*oFDCGreat Britian a three part lot which includes a bread and butter used collection of several hundred different starting with the classics and running to the early 1990’s in three Safe dual albums. The second part is an eight volume Machin collection on homemade pages featuring booklet panes, 1st days and strips along with the many nuances.
