COLLECTIONS AND ACCUMULATIONS — General Foreign
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
Lots 1285-1303 are separate albums of an exceptionally neat, clean, and nicely-filled 19 volume Scott International A-Z collection to the mid 1970’s. Each country’s pages are filed together, with interleaving and many typed blank pages to hold stamps beyond the scope of the printed spaces. Earlier issues are mixed mint and used, while later issues are primarily mint sets. We have listed better countries, or ones that were included, but unexpected in the indicated range. We have pictured stamps representative of the better sets and singles, but not necessarily the best of the album, so viewing should be very deliberate for proper evaluation. Enjoy.

1304*oCollection of several thousand mostly different in mounts and mounted in 49 Scott International albums. The stamps vary as to what year they run to but some run up to fairly recent as do all of the pages. A few of the albums are sparse and others are populated to near capacity. The airmails are strong throughout as a pretty advanced worldwide airmail collection has obviously been integrated. Also all of Latin America got favorable attention plus decent British with Australia, Canada, Hong Kong and India. The Europe is notable for the Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands and Russia. Lastly one of the most valuable country overall is the China. Most of the albums are quite clean as are the pages but other types have been interspersed. This collection has the distinction of being assembled in the highest private living space off ground level on the planet.Cat. Value: S.B. 8,500.00

Four volumes are set up A to Z to 1940, thirty-eight are A to Z 1940 to late 1980’s and two are A to Z late 1980’s to early 1990’s. The first mentioned are inherently the most valuable and the rest have several countries with superior coverage along with many medium to better mint sets throughout. 1309*oNearly 60 different “A-F” countries mostly mint grouped by country in glassines. Strongest in Azerbaijan and Albania, plus good Belgium, Czechoslovakia and Egypt. Some duplication noted. Needs careful examination to come up with the right number.Cat. Value: S.B. 3,250.00

1310*oThirty-one International binders stuffed into nine cartons. Appears to be two well balanced, overlapping collections that run to the mid-1980’s. The countries are in occasional random order with more stamps in the middle to modern era than early. Each volume is fairly well filled with maybe 50% of the spaces occupied. There is a U.S. and Canada volume with lots of face and useful singles and sets throughout the other 30 volumes. While no $100 stamps were spotted in a very quick review, there are a great number of moderate value singles and sets making this perfect to bolster a worldwide stock or to sell as country collections. A dozen of the pages add up to 144 canceled copies of Sweden B12-B17 and B19 with a total catalog value of $11,800.00. 1321*oMany thousand mostly different mounted on Scott specialty or international pages. The country arrangement has become disheveled for some reason as the A-Z order is mixed in the half dozen Scott International albums, five countries have been removed altogether and bundled separately, and the Spanish colonies are combined in one Scott Specialty album. With that said, many countries hold good value, many complete mint or used sets throughout and better will be found. Rearranging and remounting will do wonders.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,800.00
Price Realized: $1,100.00

There are about 70 individual lots and each should net $20.00 to $300.00; so our suggested bid is a bargain indeed. Take a look to see how much you can use.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,700.00
