However, the owner’s catalog value needs some discounting for a few fiscal cancels and a few possible forgeries. That said, there is much saleable material.Cat. Value: 2007 cat. 11,400.00
Price Realized: $1,600.00

1244*oBritish Asia collection of many hundreds on Scott Specialty pages in four binders. A quick review spotted India and states, Iraq, Burma, Straits Settlements, Kuwait, and many others. 1245*oBritish Caribbean nine very clean Scott Specialty albums with pages and some stamps to about 1990. Kind of a lackluster attempt to make this collection. 1248*oBritish Pacific six Scott albums with mint and used stamps. Begins with New Zealand starting with a few Chalon heads and running through the Life Insurance stamps. The owner’s catalog value shown on the binder is grossly overstated due to misidentification of a couple earlies and revenue cancels on the postal-fiscals. A more realistic estimate of the catalog would be in the $1300.00 range. The other albums seem to have more accurate (though unconfirmed by us) owner’s catalog values and are, as they come, New Zealand Dependencies ($1,180.00); Samoa and New Hebrides ($1,730.00); Cook Islands ($720.00); Tonga ($360.00); and Fiji ($1,425.00). A good lot with lots of useful stamps for your stock or for continuing.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00
Price Realized: $1,200.00
1249*oBritish South Atlantic collection containing St. Helena and Tristan da Cunha collection of a few hundred in a Scott album. The St. Helena begins with first issues and progresses haltingly toward the modern era. Many of the earlies have remainder cancels. The Tristan is more straightforward and is complete mint (except four low catalog value stamps) from the beginning to about 1982, with several additional issues to about 1990. Perhaps an occasional fault, but overall condition of both countries is decent with most of the mint hinged. A great group for continuingCat. Value: S.B. 375.00
Price Realized: $450.00
