COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS, AND STOCKS — United States
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
164O*A splendid attempt at a United States mint and used, 19th and 20th century front and Back of the Book collection on Scotts pages. Most of the singles and sets are lower to medium values. If you look closer you will discover the group does contain a few higher and popular values scattered around. It also holds a small yet respectable batch of U.S. Possessions. Condition is mixed. A very worthwhile assembly begging for new albums.Cat. Value: S.B. 1900.00
Price Realized: $3,750.00
165O(*)Small time offering of the 1861-1867 issues. Loads of catalog being tendered for what it is.Cat. Value: S.B. 1800.00

167O*A rather better group of classics stock than normally encountered. Beginning with numbers 7 and 9 and continuing to #99 this is an attractive group. The #10 has a sharp impression with great color. There are two # 26s that are mint and a #36 with an attractive fancy cancel. A never hinged #65 has double perforations and there are a few ‘paid’ cancellations (#7, 63 and 71). In general, there are many interesting cancellations, making this is a very desirable holding.Cat. Value: S.B. 1700.00

173O*A sneaky 1847//1964 mint and used collection neatly mounted in a Scott album. The group is completely void of the 1851-1890 issues and quite sparse of the early commemoratives and Washington-Franklins. There are a few airmails and Special Deliveries and a full set od Parcel Posts. There are no other Back of the Book issues. Condition is favorable.
