LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
204OA clean comprehensive stock on 102 sales cards beginning with #11 and continuing through to the revenues. There is an assortment of fancy cancels in the early issues including #73, 114, 146, 148, 209 and 230. There are nice selections of early commemoratives and Washington Franklins are well represented as are early air mail, postage due and officials. The revenue selection begins with R1c and continues through the second issue plus some documentary, proprietary, private die proprietary, and duck revenues. These stamps are of better condition than is normally encountered. This is a very good stock with little duplication and readily saleable.Cat. Value: S.B. 6500.00
Price Realized: $4,750.00
205O*CVAn enchanting mostly used 1847-2003 collection hinged in four clean Scott albums. This unorthodox assembly starts with an engaging Locals grouping (probably reprints) then Confederate States along with the latter reprints. Well balanced 19th century regular issues and commemoratives with many higher values are present. The 20th century offers an impressive representation of both regular issues and commemoratives as well. Here is where you might find an occasional mint example like the Kansas-Nebraska sets. The airmails hold a mint C13. In the Back of the Book you will find on parade E’s, J’s, K’s, O’s, PR’s, 1st through 3rd issue revenues as well as Reds and Greens (many higher values with cut cancels), Wines, M & M’s. And what collection would not be complete with a few Ducks floating around. The collector liked to interlace covers within the appropriate sets for a little chutzpah. Condition is very mixed so take your time to examine this fine example a labor of love.Cat. Value: S.B. 5000.00
Price Realized: $9,500.00
206O*A perky 1851//2018 mostly mint collection nestled in 14 very clean Scott Platinum Hingeless albums. Almost nothing before the Banknotes then gradually more populated staring with the Columbians. Condition is better than normally encountered with NH, OG present with a few RG. Also a identifiable amount of face types to figure in to get to the right number. A worthwhile group to consider.Cat. Value: S.B. 4000.00
Price Realized: $9,000.00

210***A rather better stock than normally encountered with some duplication. It begins with Scott 26 with a few items until the Columbians where the selection expands. 211O*A mostly used collection rescued from a dilapidated old time album. The stamps mirror the condition of the album, old and dilapidated. However the is much worthwhile used, like #’s 9X1, 1-2, 12, 38, 70, 71-72, 78, 118, 155, 166, 191, 217-218, 240-241, 277-278, 292, 293. 212*An old time mint collection that hasn’t seen the light of day for decades. Strangely this assembly starts with the last Banknote series runs up into the 1930’s. A healthy selection of early commemoratives though a light in the higher values. The Washington-Franklins are lightly populated then picks up steam in the 1920’s then abruptly ends in the 1930’s. Nice airmails and Special Deliveries and a bit of War Savings. Condition a little mixed. Needs a new album and special attention.Cat. Value: S.B. 2000.00
Price Realized: $3,500.00
