70OCivil War photograph in a 15” X 18” oval frame of Samuel White Crowell from Orono. Maine. Enlisted on August 21, 1862 and serviced in the 18th and 1st Maine Regiments. Wounded on June 18, 1864 in Petersburg, Virginia losing his right leg. He died at 25 years of age on June 27, 1864. Information provided by the owner of the back.
