47***Postage from the Michigan Bank holding in two heavy cartons. Many three cent sheets in a couple of old time, long term stored, musty, sheet files begin the hoard. The bulk of the estimated face of around $3,500.00 is in modern sheets many of which are the self stick variety. Some are still in their heavy government packs. A fair amount of booklets are also included, but spot checking reveals that at least a few of these have stamps missing. Will benefit from a fresh count which will take considerable time.Cat. Value: Face 3500.00
Price Realized: $2,200.00
48***Carefully counted mint useable postage from a medium sized consignment. No fractional, BOB, special deliveries, or other unusable postage in the mix. Includes sheets, plate strips, plate blocks, and even a small group of dollar and up. All counted and ready to go. Almost all 18 cents and up. Useful. Take the better out for your collection and mail the rest.Cat. Value: Face 3250.00
Price Realized: $1,900.00
49**Postage accumulation stuffed in three heavy bulbous cartons. There are three primary components, mint sheets, plate blocks sorted by Scott numbers ranging the 600’s to the 4800’s, and scrap mainly sorted by denomination in glassines arranged by the 100 count.Cat. Value: S.B. 3000.00
Price Realized: $3,750.00
50***Postage types from a small mainly US estate. Two pizza sized boxes. The first is fully and carefully counted sheets in files, plate blocks with strips, and some sorted scrap in baggies. All in this box are useable and collectable most between 22 cent and 37 cent face values which amounts to $2,773.00 face. The other box is unsorted with all the rest mixed in with the rest (around 85% good postage). This is where they quit counting. We agreed and said that the rest weighed enough to be worth a couple hundred. Feel free to count this second box for we have hardly figured it into the total. Face for sure over $2,800.00. Jump in with your calculator, make a count, and get a bargain.Cat. Value: Face 2800.00
Price Realized: $1,900.00
51**Nice little postage grouping. Mostly sheets, mainly 29¢ values and higher.Cat. Value: Face 1200.00
Price Realized: $650.00
52***Postage from the Huskie hoard. Huge duplication with way too many 3 and 4 cent sheets, plate blocks, blocks of four, etc. Even includes around 1,500 #948 souvenir sheets. Not counted; only roughly estimated at around $2,500.00. Would benefit from a clean count for there are some sheets that stretch out to the mid 1980s. Calculator practice anyone?Cat. Value: S.B. 1100.00
Price Realized: $1,350.00
53**Postage as received from an estate in the Wolverine State in two cartons. Runs from 3 cents to Forevers in sheets to scrap mainly in stockbooks, binders, loose, and a small selection of postal mint sets. Coming along for the ride several folders of miscellaneous material. Counting will be beneficial and profitable.Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00

54(*)*Difficult to use postage from the Michigan Bank accumulation. Some of the mint, a sizable amount (over $700.00 face), is stuck down, or onto, or in glassine envelopes that have been damp storage or water damaged. A few may be able to be salvaged. The other half is scrap mint postage of all types from full sheets missing a stamp or two down to loose individual stamps. Face value from 3 cents to 44 cents in various degrees of salvage. Total face estimate is around $1,500.00 altogether, but an in person viewing is recommended for this difficult to use postage lot.Cat. Value: S.B. 550.00
Price Realized: $750.00
55**Accumulation of mostly airmail sheets and scrap.Cat. Value: Face 460.00
