126O*A mature musty assembly of mint and used on old collection pages and a few sales cards. The used grouping includes #’s 1, 2 (bit of it’s corner missing), 72, 191, 218, 523 perf initialed. The better mint includes some early commemoratives up to the middle values, a Legends error sheet in official USPS wrapping, C13-C15. Condition is kind of smelly and a little shop worn. 127O*Consignment accumulation/collection offered as received. The core of the group is a very nice mint and used two volume starter collection not much in the earlier but a decent mostly used Washington-Franklins. Mentionable mint #’s are 230-238, 285-290, 294-299, 323-330, 581-291, 392-701, 803-834, C1-C6. Spotted is a three volume 1935-1995 plate block collection housing an identifiable face count, and mint sheets and scrap postage to bring up the overall value. 128O*Two heavy cartons from an estate. The core 1851-2008 collection is housed in three American Heirloom albums where we spotted used #’s 119, 291 and mint 323-327, 658-679, 692-701, 2870. Also includes three plastic boxes stuffed with cheap mint and used sorted in glassines and sales cards. However, the clear majority of the value lays in scrap postage and mint sheets worth figuring. 129OA sneaky 1857-1898 mainly used collection mounted on White Ace pages. Lightly populated with a few jewels scattered about. Includes 37-38, 78, 119, 155, 191, 230-245, 285-293. Very sparse until the Banknotes then you will find small pockets of various issues, mostly up to the medium values. 131**A massive collection/accumulation of over 60 binders and or stock books ranging mostly between 1950’s to 2014 stored in seven heavy cartons. Includes regular issues, commemoratives, Airmails and Federal Ducks. Consists of singles, plate blocks, booklets, booklet panes and some sheets. Parts of the grouping is in a thematic approach while the majority are in issue date order. We spotted a 1053 plate block, an Imperf Bugs, and the duck range from RW1 to RW82 with some later sheetlets included. A modern marvel of effort was used in a clean and orderly style. Meaningful mint items are #’s 113-114, 157, 161, 186, 190 both are no gum, 211, 216-217. Useful used are #’s 95, 118-121, 18, 20 with a PFC, 22, 29, 30A, 70, 75, 86, 90, 92, 137-138, 166, 191, 218, 261A with a PFC. The rest consists of over three hundred each commemorative panels and souvenir pages, approximately two thousand uncacheted, addressed 1st days still in the P.O. packaging and lastly a 3-ring binder with uncounted Canadian postage. Includes 1st, 2nd issues, a skosh of Reds, wines, beers, revenue paper, tax paids, etc. Better items are #’s R3a, R43a, R81a, R88a, R99a, R2c, R21c, R74c, R99c, R103-R117 (missing R116). There is also a couple of binders and a small box containing revenues on documents, stocks, checks, mortgages, etc. Condition is quite mixed. A great way to get started in a popular area.Cat. 135O*Two volume mostly used collection in thick binders most on heavily notated Scott Specialty pages from the 1850’s to the 1950’s. Mainly lower to moderate value with an occasional better items scattered about. Worthy used worth mentioning is #’s 72, 76-77, 97, 119, 115, 218, 242. The mint are #’s 229, 630 NH, E1, K13-K14. Heavy duplication for a cancel study in the early issues and for physical therapy in the later assembly. Condition is pretty scruffy but when patience is used you will find an occasional nice copy. 136O*A mature Federal Duck assembly starting with RW1 and going into the modern era. The highlights are mostly in the modern material such as #’s RW72b with a black artist signature (only 750 were signed in black), RW73b x2 without the engraver’s signature, RW74b x2, RW75b x2, RW76b, RW77b, RW78b, RW79b, RW80b, 1992 precursor Junior Duck sheet of 9, JBS1-JBS3. Some peripheral paper ephemera also is noted. To a lesser extent you will also find some duck on license and other wild game material towards the end of the group. Nicely balanced 19th and 20th century commemoratives, regular issues, airmails, officials, revenues and other B.O.B. issues that are mainly lower to medium values with a occasional high priced item popping up. Useful used are #’s 1, 70, 72, 78, 119 x2, 155, 166, 191, 241,292. The lone mentionable mint is a $5.00 Columbian. Condition is very mixed with a few being only average. There is still a fair amount of Fine to be salvaged. Good starter if there was ever one.
