203O*CVFive full heavy cartons from the Lake Zurich hoard that is just a bit better than the others. Lots of just stuff to shuffle through. Highlights include: a continuable Guatemala collection mixed condition in a better than usual album, a small but interesting Costa Rica collection, a book of Latin American specimens, an album of Latin American revenues circa 1908, and a stockbook of mint modern Japan with some Yen to count. Along for the ride is a full carton of cheap country folder collections, a carton of common covers (US addressed FDCs), and two cartons of leftovers with thousands of mainly common packet stamps with an occasional surprise. Looks like a couple of week's sorting and organizing fun to us.Cat. Value: S.B. 1200.00
Price Realized: $2,500.00
204O*Ancient European produced album somewhat remaindered having virtually nothing past 1900. Over 2,000 all different mint and used stamps from fifty plus countries and entities. Richly laden with classics which appear to be better than usual condition. Must be a huge catalog value even with the usual dubious from the time. The owner put together post WW II Germany in 1946-1948. This album has sat in a vault since the 1970s. Well worth a deeper look.Cat. Value: S.B. 1200.00
Price Realized: $1,250.00
205O*Breathtaking worldwide from Gabon to Oltre-Giuba Volume II collection from 1850 to 1932. The collector using an original unused Scott International Junior album decided to take the challenge to fill these pages with only the stamps either pictured or having spaces. He dismantled the pages organizing them in order in a binder. Contains thousands of mixed mint and used stamps as one would expect to see on these pages as well as several complete countries or colonies. British and French colonies are only one highlight. Do not let this one slip away. A once in a decade or longer opportunity.Cat. Value: S.B. 1200.00
Price Realized: $3,250.00
