Thousands upon thousands of collectable stamps in albums, folder collections, stockbooks, on and off paper mixes, and a full carton of mundane covers. These were mainly backstock from a large important collection carefully gone through having most of the power removed to the main collection. Lots of goodies remain along with enough US and UN face to count and should be looked at carefully to verify its substantial value at auction. Many possibilities for breakdown by the next owner.Cat. Best is a fairly complete UN collection to 2008 where the first half is in albums and the second half in mint sets, also includes: a two volume Harris World collection with thousands of stamps where China (including PRC) and Canada are best, a stockbook of mint Singapore, all the duplicates and the "to be mounted" stamps in albums, collections, stockbooks, glassines, old envelopes, and much, much more. Best of all are a pile of US mainly mint singles in a small pizza size box that embraces a White Plains sheet (NH) and a Kansas overprint set. Foreign countries having good representation include Egypt, Italy, Vatican, and Belgium. Also involves a small selection of lower value US face having some in sheets, about 150 Sabena Airlines First Flight covers from the 1950s to 1960s as well as other covers, and supplies. 265O*United states mint and used collection in more than enough three ring binders on pages inside plastic sleeves. The foreign is an afterthought with many common stamps in duplication. The US is where the value is with mint # C1-C6, Kansas/Nebraskas, and many others noted. Lots of notations (values and inventories etc.) to make understanding this collection a lesson in accounting, but enough good stamps, both mint and used, to make viewing interesting. Highlights include: 22 albums both general and country specific, a carton of loose album leaves, souvenir cards, and loose stamps, and just enough surprises (minor US face and other stuff) to whet the appetite of any recycler or internet seller. Poor storage gives condition problems to the albums, but the thousands and thousands of stamps seem unaffected. A long look wouldn't hurt.Cat. Value: S.B. 400.00

This dusty old accumulation of remaindered albums, cheap FDCs, stockbooks, stocksheets, picture postcards and folders, a pocket full of postage, and glassined and loose stamps, fills eight large heavy cartons. Around 70% tare with the dirt, dust and smell too much for most fireplaces.
