679OSOYUZ TM-28 1998-99 GENNADY PADALKA SIGNED & FLOWN ORLAN GLOVES (x2) Pair of Orlan gloves with matching serial numbers used by Cosmonaut Padalka during spacewalk, both gloves are signed and noted as MIR-26 (Soyuz TM-28) under Velcro flap on back of hand and both gloves bear four MIR markings. Right hand glove bears printed chart for cosmonaut to consult and also bears printed numbers that Padalka has added for use on EVA. Bold signatures. Well used & RARE. Group of around 100 different 3"x2¼" color photo positives, each with NASA serial number written on individual glassine slips (one for each positive) that are also signed by Rusty Schweickart. Thus there are around 100 Rusty Schweickart signatures. Images appear to be all taken of Earth from spacecraft during mission. No duplication between the similar lots. Attractive assortment. All signed images are uninscribed 8"x10" color or B&W lithos and photos unless otherwise noted. Includes Scott Carpenter with seven signed images & one TLS, Charles Conrad with signed image and signed Gemini era official astronaut leave request, Gordon Cooper with 12 signed items (nine are lithos or photos), John Glenn with ALS & TLS plus 12 signed images (most 8"x10" color, some signed in '90s), Richard Gordon signed images (x4), Jim Lovell signed Gemini photo, Wally Schirra signed images (x3) & one signed Gemini facts sheet, Deke Slayton signed image with postage stamp franking, and lastly a Tom Stafford with two signed NASA serial numbered photos (one color, one B&W). 684O1990s-2000s FLOWN ITEMS USED BY NIKOLAI BUDARIN Interesting group of 21 FLOWN items used by cosmonaut Budarin during his flights, most seem to be from ISS mission. Includes Russian flag patch (ISS marking) & STS-113 crew patch (both signed by Budarin on reverse), flight suit name tag, left hand Sokol glove with Budarin's initials in blue, two head sets, cassette recorder probably used for collecting data (contains cassette, probably used on ISS), device with handles that appears to be used during EVA (possibly for motion control), drink stirring spoon, six pieces of anti-gravity clothing (some with Budarin's initials on them), storage bag with Budarin's initials, cloth strap with electrical plug in, grayish green cloth flight suit with leggings and Atlantis-MIR Lands End pull over. 688OSOYUZ TM-23 1996 FLOWN PAIR OF ORLAN GLOVES USED BY YURI USACHEV DURING EVA Pair of Orlan gloves used by cosmonaut Usachev on EVA during Soyuz TM-23 mission. Each glove bears MIR markings, matching serial numbers and interesting handwritten markings added by Usachev for use during EVA. Pair is accompanied by white storage bag for gloves plus mirror that was likely used on EVA although mirror band does not bear MIR markings. RARE and in very good condition.
