1686CVTwo interesting "Bezirk" covers both signed by GSPY. The first registered from Neuruppin (8.7.48) uses three different stamps overprinted "36 Neuruppin" to get to Berlin-Lichterfelde (11.7.48). The second registered from Petershagen (5.JUL. 1948) to Berlin-Frohnau (07.7.48) using four different stamps overprinted "36 Petershagen". RareCat. Value: S.B. 100

1690CVGermany 1950 Zeppelin commemorative cover from Friedrichshafen to Waukegan, Illinois. Mailed with the commemorative (L.Z. 1; 17.10.50) cancellation. Registered. 50 pf surcharge on the back for benefit of the museum. Unusual franking using # 9N40 and 645 to pay the 120pf overseas flight rate. As usual the Luftpost/Avion label is not tied. Backstamps include a Chicago transit Oct 20, and a Waukegan Oct 21 receiving marking. A little pencil marking on the front does not detract from the cover.Cat. Value: S.B. 50
