97CVDirect from an estate approximately 1,000 worldwide and US commercial, event covers, postal stationery, and postcards in three medium cartons. Nicely organized in four cover albums and three pizza size boxes, the collector saved this material which he considered better or interesting. A fantastic selection of postal history roughly from the 1880s to 1970s. Includes over sixty different US “Ketchy Kard” Event covers from 1975 to 1979 each having a tiny, extremely thin 22 karat gold bar inserted near the cachet. Not much gold here but also not often seen on the marketplace. You should like and appreciate this holding like the owner so take some time to view this one.Cat. Value: S.B. 1000

Includes a 1757 military letter from within France, 1837 Mobile Al, to New York with interesting markings, 1794 Baltimore to Wilmington De, 1854 Chicago to Tuscaloosa, AL (strong Red Chicago markings), early Augusta 5 cent circle to Tennessee, 1792 England to New York, 1840 "Paid one Penny" from West Bromwich to Wolverhampton, plus others from Charleston, SC, Liverpool, 1843 Scotland, and Ireland.
