Highlights include: a couple of US volumes Scott Specialty and the like containing pedestrian US collections, foreign organized and disorganized country collections in albums and stockbooks, dozens of stockbooks with both mint and used to be collected somehow later, a box with over $1,000 face UN, a small box or two of uncounted US postage, boxes and boxes of loose glassines each containing world wide sets, singles or accumulations, various small pockets of covers including some higher catalog Canal Zone, and plenty of other stuff accumulated by a life long collector. No supplies or literature. All eleven cartons with just the stamps and related material. Although rather disorganized, the condition is better than most messy estates like this. Owner’s meticulous count of around 22,000 mint and used stamps existing in full, partial sets, and singles. Includes a Senior Stateman album to 1979 having roughly 6,600 stamps, Statesman Deluxe album to 1970 nicely filled including a page of US precancels, and Minkus New Worldwide album to 1960. Stockbooks involve one having 15 Vario pages from Australia to South Africa mostly from the 1940s to 1960s and one having US with both commemoratives and definitives A must see for the inquisitive person.Cat. 170O*Caboose lot from the clean out of the Niagara estate in twelve heavy cartons. Includes tens of thousands of world wide stamps. Loose, in glassines, small folder collections, country groups, albums and stockbooks, retired APS sales books, and shoeboxes. Mixed condition. All eras up to around 1995. Seems to be his duplicates and stuff he bought at upstate New York auctions. Best of all is his better than beginner US collection in a National Album to around 1980 (in box 1/12). Nothing removed with more than a handful of surprises. We saved the fun part for you as we spent very little time reboxing.
