COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS, AND STOCKS — Europe
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
243O*Europe parallel mint and used collection of a few hundred different mounted on attractive homemade pages. Involves a fairly complete Bosnia (less perf varieties), Austrian occupation of Italy, Romania and Serbia, Yugoslavia “1L’s” along with Czech. Semis overprinted on Austrian issues. Nothing real high catalog but, the owner’s catalog totals nearly $5000. Overall condition is quite good.Cat. Value: S.B. 550
Price Realized: $600.00
244O*CVEurope mainly stockbook accumulation in one heavy carton. Around ten in all with most of the value in Germany and Austria. Huge aggregate catalog value with many classic used singles with light duplication throughout. Few sets. Other countries include: Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Greece, Switzerland and Hungary, each roughly sorted onto stockbook pages, old remaindered collections, a box and a folder, and a few approval books. Condition problems plague many of the earlies, but plenty of value for the area collector.Cat. Value: S.B. 550
Price Realized: $425.00
245O*Three “nadir” collections/accumulation. Hundreds and hundreds of mixed mint and used stamps which embrace Austria in a Scott Specialty album to 1997, Romania in a Minkus album to 1994, having shingled stamps, and a Belgium stockbook of used sparsely populated to the 1950 with backup. Plenty of value here; just a little patience waiting for these countries to make a comeback will be rewarding.Cat. Value: S.B. 550
Price Realized: $550.00
