Found in the depths of an old time dealer’s basement these probably have not been offered or priced since the 1970s. A wealth of cachets some in duplication. Lots of earlies with seldom offered commercial cachets. Few if any hand painted. Airmail including two C18. 85CVKansas postal history lot in thirteen bulging cover albums. Over 1,350 covers in all, representing all eras of late 19th century to more modern times. Most are between 1870-1920. Put together over many years by an advanced collector who always had an eye out for unusual Kansas markings. Seems to be organized alphabetically by marking or town.
