COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS, AND STOCKS — Western Europe
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
303*oWestern Europe accumulation of collections, boxlots, and stock books filling seven large cartons. Good all over value with many intermediate and a number of better single surprises sprinkled throughout. Over forty units all together with the smallest carton containing the unsorted sets and singles (not duplicates, but better) in over 500 glassines. Germany (lots of better condition Third Reich and high value post WWII some NH), Austria (including a five volume set of almost empty Davo Hingeless albums), Greenland (hingeless collection), San Marino Scott Specialty collection, Monaco collection, high value Netherlands, Memel, odd locals, and much, much more. Most of these would be standalone groups but the lateness of the consignment precluded single country sales. Perfect for the wholesaler with dozens of $200-$400 single lots as possibilities in this better than most bundle of collections.Cat. Value: S.B. 1250
Price Realized: $3,000.00
304*oWestern Europe mainly Switzerland (around 2/3 the value) and Lichtenstein accumulation in a small carton. Parts include: a small wine box with duplicated Lichtenstein sets and singles on 104 size cards, three binders of selected issues from both countries, and a small box with a couple dozen retired auction sheets. Huge aggregate catalog value with condition only a problem on the early issues. Will fill many holes in an intermediate collection.Cat. Value: S.B. 900
Price Realized: $1,150.00
