96CVAbraham Lincoln campaign cover (June 1863) with a large size bearded Lincoln cachet at left. Franking is accomplished with an 1861 #65 and a clean NASHVILLE TEN circle date JUN 14, 1863 cancel. Includes a PF cert (1996) which proclaims “genuinely used on cover which is slightly reduced a right”. Cert does not describe the pencil marks on the reverse that indicates that this cover was once part of the 1935 Walcott sale. Valuable showpiece for any Lincoln, Civil War, Presidential exhibit.Cat.
