Enclosed is a “Citizens’ Committee of One Hundred” program for the National Day of mourning ceremony June 1, 1865 entitled: Fast Day Service in Crosby’s Opera House. 1692CVUnited States US 5 cent Franklin on a December 1850 cover from Baltimore Md. To Philadelphia. Marked “paid” and “Due 5”. Cover with numerous wrinkles and creases. Kind of tied with nondescript orange grid after the obligatory pen cancel. The stamp is just four margins centered F-VF, while the cover has a file fold through the stamp. As is as found.Cat.
