148*oCVTail end of a large estate. Seven large heavy cartons of anything and everything that could not make single country lots in this auction. Begins with a rudimentary US mint collection to 1980, a few other US entities and a small pizza size box packed with uncounted postage. Next is an International Junior collection with a thousand or so common stamps. The real value is in the couple dozen country groups and collections found among the remainders in three cartons. Asia and Europe are the best here. Huge catalog. Next is a full carton of one page lots and glassines that hold massive value in many places. 149*oConsignment as received. At one time was a respectable plate block collection and backstock without much power. Now, sadly, collections like this are evaluated by their amount of face value. This one includes two sheet files of 3 cent to 20 cent sheets, three falling apart Harris plate block albums of the same time period, two small boxes of extra plate blocks and scrap, and six small boxes of foreign to drop it into this category. At one time the catalog according to the owner was well over $6,000.00. It does have a face value of nearly $2,500.00 and will take some time to break down with much of the value in the albums. Comprises mainly Canada mint and used collection in a Minkus album to the 1980s having mint J1-J5 and postage to calculate as well as Vatican in full and partial sheets from the 1960s and 1970s.
