Includes an intermediate mint collection to 2012 with tons of face to count along with #579, 834, 1053 etc. A similar plate block collection to 2012 that spreads into zip blocks for a while holding even more face. Plus a basic used collection of several thousand stamps. Everything is nice White Ace and Lindner type binders in Scott order and correctly annotated. 111*A powerful mint collection in an unassuming Scott American album. This well balanced assembly starts quickly out of the box with 1851 issues and picks up speed in the Banknotes, cruises through the early commemoratives then into the well populated corner of the Washington Franklins and finishes nicely with the airmails and BOB. Presentation is a bit clumsy but this is countered by loads of well centered stamps. However the reverse issues range from no gum mostly in the 19th century to NH. Embraces RW1, RW2, and RW3 through 2008, dozens of mint stamps with high face value up to 2008. 93 stamps not on license mixed mint and used some state ducks and others present. Not a complete run of either, but a great, in progress, mint and used ducks collection. Plate number singles abound both on license and mint. Mostly used until the 1920s commemorative then turn primarily mint. Airmails and BOB are a mixture of both. The other five volumes are loaded with postage types of singles and many sheets. 117*Duck stamp collection in two clean Scott Specialty albums. The federal section is all mint around 90% complete, 1934 (regummed) through 2013. OG until around 1965 then NH plate singles. Missing most of the power with condition problems in the earlies. All have a good appearance from the front. The States section is similar with most stopping around 2000. 120oA fascinating old time revenue assembly mounted on Scott pages. The first issues consist of imperfs, part perfs, or perfed and are either pairs or larger multiples and are very rarely offered in such hefty groups. Mostly manuscript cancels however there are many hand stamp cancels and even a few railroads. Horizontal pairs worth mentioning are numbers R1a, R1b, R7c, R9a, R16d (with cut cancel), R39c, R43b, R45 (with punch cancel), R45c x2, R48a, R50c, R54a, R57c, R59b, R59c, R60a R62a, R66a, R66c x2, R69a, R70a, R73a, R78c, R81a (small hole in left stamp), R84c (gray), R85c. R86c, R87c, R89a, R92c, R94c, R95c, R96c. Vertical pairs are numbers, R9a, R24b (strip of 7 with a couple tears), R32a (faults), R36b (strip of 3), R40b, R41c, R49a, R64b, R87c. Blocks of four or larger are R38c (block of 8), R43c, R66c, R72c. The second issues are impressive as you will find numbers R103-R128. The third issues are inspiring as well with numbers R134-R149. Going deeper are numbers R159-R160, R189, R193 (cut cancel). The Proprietary issues abound with numbers RB1a-RB7a, RB16a, RB1b-RB4b, RB6b-RB8b, RB16b, RB11c-RB13c. Large multiples of the Proprietaries are RB11a top plate block of 20 with many HRs and RB13b bottom imprint block of 16 with many HRs. 121(*)oAn old time 1847-1930 primarily used collection in two Scott “Ne Plus Ultra” albums. The better part is the used section which includes numbers 1, 70, 75-78, 90, 96-98, 100, 119, 190 x2, 191 x2, and 310-312. Also holds early used commemoratives up to the middle values, a bit of a scattering of Washington-Franklins, airmails, Special Deliveries, Postage Due Parcel Post. The mint section holds a few low value Washington Franklins, 1920’s to 1930’s regulars and commems. Unfortunately tragedy struck the mint group. The collection was exposed to a chemical fire resulting in no gum and interesting color changelings. Also a couple small boxes of used sorted in envelopes, a few covers and old reference flyers thrown in for a bonus. Still much salvageable material.Cat. Value: S.B. 950.00

123*oA spring cleaning lot made up of five components. The most valuable part is ten sets of 614-616, 617-619, 620-621, 551-555, 649-650, 704-715, 632/642, 740-749, 756-765, 803-833, and 859-893. The second group is a bunch of coils, mostly Presidentials and later, includes a heavy batch of Edison’s, mostly singles. Third is an assembly of lower value mint prior to 1941, includes 2˘ Reds, airmails, etc. Fourth is a group of plate 1929/1940 plate blocks. The final item is a RW34 plate block.
