COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS & STOCKS — Germany & Areas
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
270*oGermany and areas 1932-1946. One man’s accumulation of anything and everything related to this tumultuous period in history. Thousands and thousands of stamps mint and used. Many in great multiples and even sheets. Bunches of Third Reich sets in duplication. Ponderous number of fakes and forgeries cluttering the good from view. Natchdrucken, facsimile, private reproductions of all the zeppelins, the better souvenir sheets, and dubious occupation overprints. Some are indicated, many are not. Hundreds of odd, unusual stamps mainly from the Soviet occupations many in multiples. No real collection just around 20 albums a box and a few folders of loosely related accumulations that have value in their cumbersome repetition. A couple hundred Nazi censored covers with better than usually seen markings add to the value. A long, in person, inspection will be necessary to cull out the useless, and add up the useful in this heavy four carton lot.Cat. Value: S.B. 6,000.00
