COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS & STOCKS — Eastern Europe
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
467*oEastern Europe internet dealer’s stock of a superior nature from 1937 to 2007. Virtually all souvenir sheets and mainly mint sets having most NH on approximately 350 “112” size stockcards. (tapes enclosed) Any duplication is quite sensible. Includes Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, and Baltic States. Offered at a tempting percentage of catalog.Cat. Value: cat. 6,985.00
Price Realized: $750.00
468*oEastern Europe collection/accumulation. Four red boxes each packed with “102” size cards from Romania, Czechoslovakia, DDR, and Poland. Unknown huge catalog of mainly common stamps in duplication. Also encompasses an ugly homemade collection of Romania 1862-1980 with enough stamps to get the owner’s catalog up over $4,600.00, an Heirloom collection of Russia 1957-1972, and a handful of glassines of mainly mint blocks of four of Czechoslovakia (cat. $850.00). Looks to us as if the CTO is figured as used, but still plenty of value with its poor presentation in the way.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00
Price Realized: $550.00
469*oEastern Europe holding of a retired bourse dealer. Highlights include better than starter collection of Czechoslovakia in a clean Scott album to 1990, a stockbook of mint Czechoslovakia, and folder collections of Bulgaria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Romania, and others. High resale in this lot, broken down into ten profitable lots.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00
Price Realized: $550.00
470*oEastern Europe dealer’s stock on almost 300 “102” type salescards. Everything is a complete set or a key value (no short sets). Catlaog values range from $3.00 to $25.00 per unit with a few higher and a few lower. Very little duplication. Albania, Czechoslovakia and Poland are the best. Condition is F-VF or better throughout.Cat. Value: S.B. 700.00
Price Realized: $475.00
471*oEastern Europe accumulation of stockbooks and old albums (11) some dedicated to one country and others to the area. Yugoslavia is best as a country while Poland and Romania are close behind. No one standout, just a lot of interesting stamps from this area. Hundreds of stamps many unsorted in the offing for rediscovery. Even an occasional surprise awaits the highest bidder.Cat. Value: S.B. 400.00
Price Realized: $650.00
