COLLECTIONS & ACCUMULATIONS — Germany
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
1099*oGermany collection in seven binders and albums. Best is a mint collection 1933-1945 in a hingeless Lighthouse album well over 95% complete for the pages. Some of the sets are NH, but most have previously been hinged (lightly removed) or have gum with fingerprints. Still very collectible with #B49-B57, B58, and C43-C45 as highlights. The other six binders and stockbooks hold duplicates mint and used sets, mint B33, inflation singles in repetition, a few mixed mint and used Eagles and shields, mint 65A, used B68 x2, used B33, and many hundred more. With a thorough reorganization and culling an advanced 1875-1945 collection will emerge. All the hard work has been done. Give this one a long look.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,400.00
Price Realized: $3,000.00
1100*oGermany Zusammendrucke and flyspeck varieties in a skinny stockbook and small pizza size box. Completely unsorted but identified by Michel number. No advertising labels, but an excellent selection of different combinations. Posthorns, Heuss, Berlin, Hindenburg medallion, Third Reich, Germania, and semipostals all represented. Around 50 different flyspeck Michel listed varieties are included in the box with most being of the minor variety on Third Reich era stamps. Plenty of fun for the Germany specialist.Cat. 1101*oGermany collection to 1975 in three disheveled and slightly remaindered springback KaBe albums. Thousands of stamps with an emphasis on mint OG material. Starts with a few used eagles and shields and picks up strength in the Third Reich era with solid semipostal section, a wrinkly IPOSTA sheet and a no gum OSTROPA sheet are highlights. Early post WWII is also strong with a mint posthorn set, better semipostals, and worthwhile Berlin. The DDR album has a Mao set along with most of the Souvenir sheets. Needs remounting as the albums have out lived their usefulness. Condition mixed to excellent, so viewing necessary.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00
