1321*oWorldwide collection in an 1892 leather and brass bound Zschiesche album, with 456 single sided gilt edged pages most of which are partially occupied. Thousands of generally used stamps are firmly hinged, often with selvage, from #1’s through stationery cutouts, revenues, and reprints. The album is lightly remaindered, with some slightly stuck, cut to shape, or otherwise damaged stamps. While we have photoed some representative pages, actual examination is recommended. All that said, this is a fascinating 19th century selection in a wonderful album and original storage box that has travelled from Germany through Uruguay to Florida as it has been handed down through three generations, and now you could work on it for another lifetime.Cat.
