Starting with the states in 1852, this majestic section consists of Modena, Parma, Romagna, Roman States, Sardinia (some multiple), Tuscany and the Two Sicilies. Closer inspection recommended for this section. Italy proper starts with the classics and continues fairly complete to the early 1960s. Highlights include mint 38-44, 58-63, 117-118, 165-170, etc. and used 37. Also contains many complete sets. Rounding out this tremendous collection are the semipostals, airmails, special delivery, officials, parcelposts, offices in China and Turkey. Phenomenal and seldom seen. Worth a good look.Cat.
