Austria massive accumulation of tens of thousands of mint and used stamps housed on 47 manila stockpages in a large Elbe binder to about 1985.  Includes Offices, Occupation and Lombardy-Venetia issues.  Quantities to 50 each is not unusual with some a bit higher.  Stamp values over $100 catalog were noticed.  As is usual, condition will be mixed but there are some quality “surprises” to be found.  Viewing is recommended to determine usefulness and value as catalog total is high.

Austria a lifetime’s accumulation spanning the entire range of Austria’s philatelic history.  While the rarities are not present, the range and duplication allows the cancel collector great latitude and interest.  Of note is a grouping of German-stamped cards used in Austria, along with a healthy dose of Bosnian material.  The mint material would be useful to anyone developing an Austrian inventory.
